Group asks states to track citizens' ammo

Someone invented a process to laser-etch a serial number into a bullet. When no ammo manufacturer would buy this serial-numbering system, they started lobbying to require it by law. Of course all that's going to do is induce the criminals (especially the gangs) to deface the codes. Ordinary citizens lose another right, a little at a time...
